Powis Hughes & Associates have experience of Compulsory Purchase for both the acquiring authority and also representing the landowner.  We have acted in large scale acquisitions of property, notably for the Plymouth Development Corporation, and in complicated sites to facilitate development.

All of our staff who we use on Compulsory Purchase work have extensive experience of Compulsory Purchase, largely gained within the Valuation Office Agency, where they have obtained an excellent grounding.  We are currently involved on behalf of private landowners in respect of a scheme in Portsmouth.
