History
Powis Hughes & Associates started offering commercial
property consultancy services in 1995. The original practice had Paul
Powis and Stephen Hughes as the two partners and Rafe Staples as an
associate. The Practice also had several specialist consultants. All
three principal professional staff were formerly part of the Public
Sector Department of Lambert Smith Hampton, which was then part of
Herring Baker Harris.
Rafe Staples was made a full Partner in April 2002. In
September 2002 Paul Powis passed away suddenly. Since Paul's death
Powis Hughes has continued with the two partners Stephen and Rafe. With
the help of several specialist consultants the practice thrives and we
continue to act nationally for a wide range of clients and on a variety
of properties and landholdings.
